Biosketch
|
Hsien-Hsin Sean Lee is an Intel Fellow in the Software and Advanced Technology Group at Intel Corporation. He is responsible
for developing advanced system architecture and at-scale infrastructure solutions for all cloud-native and on-premises datacenters.
Prior to rejoining Intel, his 25-year professional career spanned in-between academia and industry including leading the Boston SysML
Research group at Meta AI, directing the EDA design flow and PDK development at
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), nurturing next-gen technologists as a
tenured Associate Professor in the School of ECE at Georgia Tech, being
an Architecture Manager at Agere Systems and a senior processor architect at Intel.
Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He was a
receipt of the Department of Energy Early CAREER Award in 2005 and the NSF CAREER Award
in 2007. He has published two book chapters and more than 100 technical articles including 4 Best Paper Awards, 3 IEEE MICRO Top Picks,
and one 10-year most influential paper award (ITC). He served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Computers,
IEEE Trans. on CAD, ACM Trans. on Architecture and Code Optimization, and IEEE MICRO, and is the current Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE MICRO.
He also served as the General Chair of IISWC 2010, the Program Co-Chair of MICRO 2016, the Program Chair of
ISCA 2021 Industry Track, an Executive Committee Member for IEEE-TCCA, an Industry Advisory Board Member for IEEE
Computer Society and the CS Department of the University of Central Florida. Dr. Lee holds 42 US patents and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
